  • Hey,

Per your directing, I find this article. I've not been to this
place nor heard about it although I have been to Luxemburg
for times. I first went there was in May of 1991 that was my
first/alone 3-month travelling in Europe. I knew nothing
about foreign language but English (but awfully poor!!) I
accidently went to a place, where I didn't know at all (I still
can't remember the name now.), coz I stayed in a youth
hostel, which was far away from Luxemburg city. It took 40
minutes by bus to get there, but fortunately the scenery was
great (kidna similar to your photos) that made me feel I
wasn't too silly, Ha.... The nameless place was pretty but
antique then, and the last bus stop was in the front of the
hostel, which looked like an abbey or something like that. I
met some wonderful young men there on that night. A
young man I even met again in Salzburg about one month
later after our saying good-bye in Luxemburg. That was
    great experience to me!!

    to be continue...

  • I can tell how happy you were from seeing the photos.
Sometimes we will discover unexpected joy when travelling.
    "Switch eye, switch mind", right?

    Ciao

P.S. Sorry that I wrote too long. The capacity is not enough for
    my blat, Ha...

  • Hey, I don't mind your long message at all coz your story is really
interesting. Thing alters throught the tuning of years. I can hardly
imagine that "awfully poor" english speaker from your fluent writing.
I guess you can also speak italian coz you said "Milano" instead
of "Milan" in another left message, can't you?

  • I learnt Italiano a wee but still can't speak (or maybe say hello,
simple words or something, coz it's difficult for a old dog to
learn a new trick!!). But most of words I know and can say are
things about "food" (that's most important stuff, right?)

I stayed in Edinburgh for almost one year, so I might have
improved a wee in English. Oh! That's long story!!

  • I also visited Edinburgh once. I joined a studying tour when I was a
senior high school student, so it's a story long time ago. What I can
remember is the fortress and the meadow, and nothing else...
